There are six golf courses in southwest Calgary, along with fourteen shopping centres —including Southcentre and Deerfoot Meadows. A massive retail shopping complex is currently under construction at Seton, which will have almost a million square feet of retail space when completed. It is being touted as the “downtown core for southeast Calgary.”
